Last Tuesday, Keeping Youth & Streets Safe (KYSS), the People’s Organization for Progress (POP), Decarcerate NJ, and Plainfield View held its first event on mass incarceration. Below, there is video of the first four speakers: Keynote Reverend Charles F. Boyer of St. James AME Church in Somerset, KYSS Co-Founder Sabrina Lyttleton, POP Chair Stephen Hatcher, and Courtney Perales Reyes of NJ Youth for Immigrant Liberation.
Technical issues have delayed the footage of the community discussion that followed, but I’ll be sure to release much of it moving forward.
